Care to remove it from your safe permanently? :)

My employer would probably frown on that.

I just don't like the 26. I still think the 43 is what the 26 should have always been. The 26 may have a shorter barrel and grip, but it's still "thick as a brick" and I can't really conceal it well. I carried my 19 or 17 instead until I bought a 43. The 43 is a great carry gun, even with the Taran mag extensions I have on it I can conceal it very well. Now Glock is making what I basically turned my 43 into and it holds two more rounds.

My plan now is to buy a 48 and swap slides with my 43.

That was my plan! Bought a G48 because I have wanted a single stack G19 FOREVER...but also because I can swap slides and have a G43X if I want. I can confirm, they work. Also threw some Trijicon HD XR sights on the 48. Love those sights.

Good video but it just me being overly cautious but doing press checks with his finger on the trigger and talking to the camera with his finger on the trigger are not actions that I would condone as a range officer. He had the pistol pointed downrange, but I don't like to see a finger on the trigger unless I'm focused on the target.

I agree. Also wondered if anyone would notice the guy's sloppy gun handling? Good for you sir!

This guy/range puts out a lot of decent informative videos, but he could certainly set a better example. He is not unlike some other gun store/range employees that we have seen. Way too "comfortable" whipping the gun around, doing stuff that borders if not breaks more than one of the four rules.

It's pretty easy to tell who has trained and or shot competition. You would never get away with that on a range with a certified RO observing. For good reason.

Does the TLR 6 fit on the 48 frame?

yes! But I think it looks silly. Wish someone made a 48 length light/laser combu.

one will probably roll out at some point. Have you shot it yet? I’ll definitely be picking one up in the next couple of months.

Checked them both out, bought a G-45 Blue Label with Glock night sights.

It fits some of the great hpclayto holsters I already have !!!

When I was looking at the G48, the guy there asked if I had looked at the G45. Being new to Glocks I didn't even know what it was. It seemed okay. All these choices confuse me!:):

LOL, same here. Went back to my LGS today to shoot the bull and coon finger the 43x some more and maybe just go ahead and buy it even though I don't care for the silver slide. Came home with a G45 instead

well im at work looking at both the 48 and the 43x...and i hate to say it, but the better of the two...is the mossberg mc1, at least if feels better, and the trigger pull/reset is better, but if i were looking for something like that, i'd wait for a while to make sure there aren't any bugs in it

New mossberg is non starter. They're about 4yrs too late. Shield 2.0 is a better proven pistol of the same size and same price. And is holds 1 round more per each mag. Funny thing is that when you set a shield down with the 7 round mag and a 43x on top of it, they're the exact same height except for the thickness of the glock base plate. That's it. And the 43x holds 10rds. And they feel the same width in hand.

I miss the good old days when Glock had 1 caliber and 2-3 choices!

ETA: OK, maybe not that much!

I prefer the feel in the hand of the Glock over my Shield. The Shield feels like I'm holding a deck of cards. If I could get used to the Glock trigger, I would consider getting one.
