Arghh! Bought a bunch of supplies to finally start a production batch of 300BO. Nice snowy day to load ammo. About 18 months ago, I ordered the needed powder funnel from Atterbury. It took a while to come in and by the time it did, I had hand loaded a batch of 300BO and didn’t think much of it. Yesterday I picked up a bunch of supplies from Atterbury to do a batch of 300BO and wouldn’t you know it, but the powder funnel that they ordered back then was a .308 Win funnel and not a 300BO funnel. I already had a B type funnel and had to order a different AK type online.
I don’t so much care about the cost, as it’s only $25 but I sure do wish I had checked on the one that came in when I picked it up. Not having that funnel really broke my stride in reloading today. I’m going to pull all of the 300BO stuff from the bench and run a batch of .40 this afternoon. I have been running a lot of .40 lately and need to restock the coffers anyway.
