Over the weekend I watched "The Dirty Dozen" on Netflix.

It was my first time watching it and I enjoyed it a lot. Some of the older movies don't hold up well, but this one does. There is some really nice film-making, aka creative and cinematic shots that I enjoyed as someone that appreciates choices of a director.

There are some cheesy deaths, but that's more a symptom of the time since gratuitous violence wasn't en Vogue back then.

Last Laugh on Netflix. Chevy Chase and Richard Dreyfuss. Pretty good movie.

I think that The Wild Bunch is on Netflix as well....If you haven't seen it it has one of the best shootouts ever and the coolest "walk" ever filmed...

    Period....

We watched the first episode of The Umbrella Academy on NF last night. Kinda X-men, Avengers-ish. There are 10 episodes. Not a bad show far but we'll see how it goes.

This one comes out tomorrow. Seems right up my alley. Military guys going on a non-military mission to steal lots of money.

I completely forgot Letterman started a Netflix show. Just found an hourlong episode with Howard Stern.

Starting now. Very looking forward to it

Edit: ... Done. Probably picked the one best episode out of the six. It was 85% good banter, 15% dumb politics.

Guessing the other 5 episodes are worse with that ratio.

Started Longmire last week. Netflix has had it on my need to watch list for a while so I figured what the heck. I really like it. I think once Netflix took it over after season 3 it got even better. I wish Justified was on Netflix I would like to see that one as well.

Anyone check this out yet? Was going to watch last night, but didn't have the time. Might watch it this evening.

Some pretty solid actors, odd how little marketing these Netflix shows are getting.

I either missed it before now or Amazon just released Top Shot season 1. It's been long enough ago that I can't remember who won any of the episodes. I never payed attention to the participants and just watched it for the cool shooting stage setups the first time so it isn't really like watching a rerun.
