I have likely received at least as much corporate group-think indoctrination as you have, if not more - and you may have noticed my supply of patience with such was exhausted quite some time ago

My attitude is beginning to change though. What say you and I develop the next step beyond Myers-Briggs and Big Five and enrich ourselves at the expense of the gullible?

My post wasn't even about the veracity of Kaepernick's argument. You are free, as many other do, to believe its a crock a ****. My point is, that Kaepernick is protesting a topic he thinks that should be of concern, in America. And as such, he should not feel as if he needs to take up additional causes, outside of that topic, or outside of the the nation where he has indicated there should be a concern.

My post wasn't even about the veracity of Copernicus's argument.....I'm with Eddie Bravo...The earth is flat........

Plus I was just teasing you a little....:)

I was flipping through the radio stations a couple of weeks ago and landed on NPR, where some youngish female reporter was talking about the difficulties in establishing climate change policies in America. Then she talked about how China was heavily invested in renewable energy and that the really "good" thing was that, since China isn't a democracy, their leaders didn't have the same hurdles when they set good climate change policy in motion.

At the time, I thought that might have been the funniest thing I'd ever heard on the radio, but after a while a little bit of an unsettling after-taste set in.

Someone should have informed her, they are heavily invested in "selling", not in "using".

Producer and activist Andrew Duncan bought 300 tickets to tonight's Nets vs Raptors game and is hosting hundreds of Chinese pro-Democracy activists to protest the NBA.

They're all wearing "Stand With Hong Kong" t-shirts

Why would I give my enemy money (in the form of ticket sales) when he clearly does not like me?

Anybody ever read Mark Steyn’s book “After America”? He talks about how the transition of world super power from Britain to America was fairly smooth. We share a common history and language and basic moral code. It won’t be so smooth when it shifts from America to China. Vastly different cultures. They are the majority holder of our debt and we are their top consumer. They’re propping up our economy and we’re propping up theirs by being the biggest buyers of their cheap Chinese stuff. Not that hard to see what will happen if/when our economy collapses.

Is this view a capitulation that their communist/psuedo capitalist model works better than our capitalist/psuedo socialist model?
