They did a shot from above. They are at 15% attendance today at most I am guessing. I would think it would kind of get to you racing week after week to empty seats.

    1. 2002- New driver talking to an older driver- "Must have been cool to drive all the old, cool cars back in the day".

    2. 2019- New driver talking to an older driver- "Must have been cool to drive in front of a crowd and people actually gave a ****".

I watched the whole race, it wasn't too bad. It was a bit strung out at the beginning but the last two stages weren't bad. The last 20 laps are so I was on the edge of my seat. I was happy Chase made it to the next round, but was really hoping he could get the win with the way his car was on short runs.

I agree completely, not a bad race at all.

Was cool to see Chase make it in.

Another week and another empty track.

Last week was not a bad race, hoping for another good one. Would like to see Lagano get his **** beat on today, the kid is in need of a *** whooping.

Well, the track isn't empty. It still has the usual 43 cars on it. :stickpoke: The stands are pretty sparsely populated though. I think they're on the 10th caution, so lotsa wreckin' going on.

I love seeing his son involved with it all. I couldn’t care less otherwise but as a father, that was awesome.

Yup. That kid will remember these days his entire life. Gotta give it to Kyle, dude can wheel a race car. I was pulling for Harvick or Truex, but not bummed out it was Kyle. Anyone but Lagono!

So Jimmie is retiring at the end of 2020, honestly kinda saw this coming after him and chad split.

I think that would leave Ryan Newman as the longest active full time driver, he and Jimmie came in the same year.

Not really a big JJ fan but he is a heck of a driver and has been a good ambassador for the sport. I wish him the best.

I think you’re right. Ryan would be the longest full timer now. I was thinking harvick for some reason but he wasn’t until ‘01

The sport is losing all of its older guys. When I started watching it was mostly older guys, now there’s very few. Makes ya wonder what’s going on behind the scenes
