And replace him with what/who and how in the name of any Deity you kneel to would what's out there right now be even a modicum better.

    Man this is just sad.

Maybe its time I find a new place to hang out. Like on my deck. Cleaning my guns while I can still own them.

your guns are safe & so are mine...

Holcum is lazy & stupid but even he or any gov. can't get 2A changed by exec. order

True, the fact that people are willing to risk a great loss in freedom and prosperity just to (potentially) convey a message about a temporary mask order is disturbing.

Holcum is lazy & stupid but even he or any gov. can't get 2A changed by exec. order

    :orly:

PS - He might get your message if you could at least spell his name right.

If the legislature can't unite enough to rein in Holcomb's actions, what makes you think your guns are safe. And if you allow a Democrat into the most powerful state office, how can that situation progress in any direction except toward worse

Does the legislature have to wait for Holcomb to call them back into session? We pressured our governor's version of Dr Box, Dr Amy Acton, into first resigning as head of the Ohio Dept. of Health (after which DeWine made her an advisor and as such less susceptible to legislative oversight) and eventually resigning as advisor as well. Health care 'professionals' at all levels seem oblivious that the destruction of jobs and businesses affects people's health when they issue edicts from the fantasy world they occupy. It's like it is a Sims game and they don't realize that real world consequences devolve from their actions. It takes time, but with a Republican governor at least he responds to Republican pressure. A Democratic governor would have sought to lock us down even tighter (ala Gretchen Witchmer) because we had the audacity to question the 'experts'

Temporary? Really? Didn't it just get renewed, again? How can you tell the difference?

Does it come with any objective standards that, when met, automatically end it? Or is it by fiat

I suspect Holcomb would be in trouble if we were talking about tarring and feathering him rather than some pointless protest vote for a Democrat

Politicians underestimate an electorate's committment to essential freedoms at their own peril

Bug, if you think the mask orders will never be rescinded (maybe just not this year), then you're either more delusional, or more irascible, than I thought.

As far as your other post, if I was a rep in the GA, I'd be thinking, "Good. Let the gov. do this mask order, and I can stay out of it."

On August 26th the last day of his first mask exec. order @ the 11th hour he proudly signed a new 30 day "until further notice" extension that was reported by the Indy star dr. box is not going to lift the 4.5 stage/masks UNTIL SHE SAYS SHE has a vaccine & cure.

Not TEMPORARY since gov.in name only holcum defers to her as an expert OBGYN? not what I consider a relevant specialty.

    Please vote as you wish.
I do not expect anyone to follow.
and I'm a lead, follow or get-out-of-the-way type.

The facts & direction just are not able to give the governor more time.

I'm forced to conclude we have different definitions of temporary. You must believe in the 'temporary' war in Afghanistan, the 'temporary' protests in Portland and the 'temporary' wealth drain that will be created by Biden's plans for the economy

After all, no one has overtly declared such to be permanent. For me permanence is determined by the reality on the ground, so go with 'de facto permanence' if you wish. But do you have any objective goals of masking that end the process when met? We at least have precise numerical goals at the four stages of our program, and when WuVid's spread is driven low enough we automatically obtain release from the statewide mandate

Yeah... I inserted the word who because I have no idea who "ROAD members" are.

    I still don't.

    Is that question?

    And no, I don't; but I should.
And wait, why are you asking? You are aware of the the short story, "The Monkey's Paw", no?

You might get your wish and get Holcomb out, but the replacement could be far worse.

Well, as has been said already, the time to do that would've been before the primary. That horse has left the barn now.

    I agree.
The reality is, it'll be either Holcomb or Myers get elected.

Myers who spouts the getting so-called "weapons of war" off the street BS, and the typical Democrat "hunter's rights" BS, is no friend of the 2nd Amendment.
    Wise up people.

If Myers wins the legislature might act to hold him to account but if Holcomb stays they wont risk going after one of their own even if he is a RINO.
