Finally got around to testing these. I bought 3. They all ran flawlessly through my 43x. The only negative thing I could point out is that they don't lock the slide on the last round but that's not much of a negative compared to the extra 5 rounds you get. These are quite the game changer. My 43x holds 15 rounds with a lower profile than my 19. My 19 of course can hold the 33 round mags, but this turns the glock 43x into the ultimate ccw imo. If I'm in a situation where the 43x is too large of a profile then I carry the LCP in pocket or IWB.

Could be easy fix, if yours is like mine.

I have 4 of these 15 rounders, combined with my other factory mags, I ran about 1000 through.

They were fine earlier, but after about 7-800 rounds, 2 of the 15rd stopped locking the slide after last round fired.

What I did was just bend down the slide locking tab inside the slide(the part got pushed up by the mag follower) just a tad with a pair of needle nose pliers at the range.

It has been fine ever since.

This may force me to check out the 43x! I bought a Sig P365 for capacity reasons (among others) over the 43 and although I love the 12 rounders in my P365, the 10 feels too small while the 15 looks goofy af. A 15 round flush fit mag in the 43X definitely makes me want to check it out though!

Now that I think about it...I honestly think it's my grip on the gun...I have quite an encompassing two hand grip and I think my off hand is pushing on the slide lock and preventing it from engaging. I recall this happening on the 10 round mags too.

I put myself on the email notification list to order a few....

    If that ever happens. *sigh*
Yeah they pretty much fall into the unobtainium category right now. I just purchased a couple of +2 mag extensions from NDZ performance for a total of 12+1. Sure I'd like to get my hands on some of the Shield mags but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen any time soon.

I do this all the time on the full size. I've tried to change my grip, but it's pretty ingrained.

I ordered three mags and the release a few weeks ago when they were available for backorder. Hopefully they ship some time soon.

how's the reliability on these 15 rounders?

    I've heard mostly good things.

    Some bad...

Some of the "bad" is A) not using the upgraded mag catch, and B) the "silver" slide guns seem to have a slightly thicker polymer in the handle so some of the mags don't drop free.

If that's the case, wrap the mag in painter's tape, insert it into the gun, then heat the grip with a hair dryer for a bit. Then let it cool with the mag in it. When cool, remove mag, remove tape from mag, and test.

I have a silver slide 48, so we'll see if they drop free. The mags are sitting here, but I haven't messed with them yet. They feel like they need to be dismantled and cleaned before I do anything with them.

They aren't. You just have to have a little patience. I ordered as soon as I saw they were allowing backorders on the basic mags. I noticed they only do that when they know a shipment is incoming.
Yeah they must be allowing back orders now on the basic black oxide mags. They allow you to place them in the cart and proceed to check out. I just ordered three of them and it let me check out. So we'll see if and when they'll ship.

Well, I just talked with Shield about my order. They told me a few weeks yet.

I figured I had waited long enough and I just cancelled the order.
