I'm not worried about it. Within 2 miles of my dwelling there are 2 houses absolutely decked out in Trump swag and another house that looks like a Blue Lives Matter Halloween house (...I think you get the idea). They've been that way for weeks and it doesn't appear any have been adulterated. The BlueLM house even has what appears to be random supporters pull up, honk and wave, etc. None of that leads me to believe that I'm in the violent protest part of the country.

I've also had a couple of chats here and there with local LEO. All seem like very nice, very solid, very trustworthy men of freedom.

I'm not seeing much wiggle room for shenanigans around here. You guys in the bigger cities, yeah... keep your eyes peeled for sure.

    I don't know, I've seen Amish Mafia.

I watched that documentary and they can get pretty aggressive. :):

In reality, the Democrats, Progressives and Marxist have been planning for violence after the elections. So don't be surprised if the volume and intensity of riots dramatically increase.

I invited my sons to visit if they want, if they choose otherwise I suggested looking for and knowing quickly what areas in their homes will stop a stray 5.56 from the street. Those videos of the shooting in Kenosha looked like an average street anywhere.

I was thinking more like returning their kindness with a few drums of 12ga slugs, you know, the more the merrier type of thing. Maybe mix in some 00 just to make sure everybody can enjoy some. I'd hate to be a discourteous guest to any block parties thrown in my neighborhood.

If things get that real we park the trucks and cars in front of the house. Something may get through but by then things will be going the other way and we tend to be very adept at hitting exactly what we want to hit.

Meh... I've got 12ga autoloader running on detachable mags for a reason. I can download to birdshot to save the neighbors, but otherwise I'll be dealing in bulk and I will not be undersold! Many, many thousand #7 shot over a minute is going to clear a crowd.

I don't want to do that as I'd prefer they just, ya know, not to try to burn my stuff down to the ground and then beat me to death with a skateboard. I'm OK with the current arrangement of no skateboard death for the bargain of no air becoming a solid wall of lead.

So a continual question I ask is what to prep for? For me I still do not have specific answers, other than standard preps. I will have a more substantial nightstand setup, and possibly be more intentional about my around the house readiness at a heightened state. Other than that, food, med, gun/security stuff, and whatever else I can think of that is more specific. Been having more talks with others that are not full on preppers, but thinking of it. I have a friend with his own people that I have been sharing intel with. All of my concern here seems to be somewhat haphazard and all based on a foggy threat. I do believe there will be more rioting especially if one party gets in and if the stuff is contested, more than a few days. I have my doubts that it will affect my general area, but one is never sure.

I generally like to be over-prepared for any situation in life.

I do not think there's another home in my neighborhood with as much security as mine has.
    -Cameras (9)
    -Security Doors
    -Reinforced Door Jambs
    -Extra locks
    -Security system
    -Security lights (many)

Have food / water supply for X amount of days.
Have extra $ in case of an emergency
Have means to survive during an extended power outage

I think, in general, that's what being prepared is about. You may not know what you're preparing for and that's the point. If everyone knew something specific would happen then everyone would be prepared for it.

I try not to get too carried away (it's easy to sometimes) and try not to get in the mindset that something bad is definitely going to happen, because we really don't know that for sure. I mean the boy scouts motto is be prepared. It's a great way to live that way you aren't caught by surprise.

In my life, any possible violence will have limited effects. I might not go to a restaurant downtown, and INGO will likely be way more tense.

Curious if anyone has seen any local intimidation attempts around the early voting areas?

Things seem to have calmed down lately. I just see a lot of bickering on social media (Facebook & Nextdoor) about people stealing political yard signs. lol

There are probably better threads to ask this question but I'll start here.

I have never been a follower of Glenn Beck and have not attempted to check his work or validate statements made by him. In the wider press I often find his name thrown in with the conspiracy theorists. However the little I have watched or read of his material I often find items that I do agree with.

My question is this. Among the wider INGO crowd what is the opinion of Mr Beck. Across the spectrum of INGO members do they find Glenn Beck's comments in the above videos to be relevant and valid?

I really am curious, I'd almost go the poll route on this question, but I don't think it's worth having a record.

FWIW, I have absolutely no interest in anything Glenn Beck has to say. :twocents:

The videos look like clickbait, and I'm not interested in that either.

Like you, I haven't paid close attention to what Glenn Beck has to say but when I have, I've generally agreed with him

Likewise, I agree with his assessment of what's going on, leading up to this election.

I like Glenn Beck, but he sometimes reminds me of one of Rush Limbaughs old axiom, that he likes to demonstrate absurdity is by being absurd.

There will be violence and chaos after the election, especially if Trump wins. The only unknown is to what degree and for how long. Currently stocked up pretty good for up to three months of supply chain disruptions. I'm pretty secure out here in the boonies. The only unknown will be the daily commute back and forth to work.
