I've seen the video where he advocates for mask mandates issued through the states, but none where Biden says that he, acting as President, will issue a national mask mandate. They are 2cdifferent things.

The one I saw was not him advocating OK. Why would I "Make" this up. I can hear and I can read I just can not type at times...:):

Again, this stooge is out of his league.

So if the pres says he can’t mandate masks, what makes the emperors, er I mean governors able to claim so?

Look at the graphs in this thread posted today.
Look at who is seriously effected.
    Look at the survival rate.
Yes the beds are filling up but with who. I do not wish ill on any one. But life is exactly that. Life.

    I am not seeing it.

Remember that there is a significant financial incentive for hospitals to admit Medicare/Medicaid patients that have positives or presumptive positives. CARES tacked on a 20% billing bonus for anyone who could be tagged as a covid patient.

The hospitals have every incentive to cram as many "covid patients" in as possible, for as long as possible, so they can hit up the federal government for the whole thing plus 20% profit. Packing hospitals full of high-yield patients who are not particularly sick and are not consuming labor resources as they sit in a room and work through their sniffle is a great way to make lots of easy money.

Are you suggesting that people in ICU beds in hospitals in Indiana are not particularly sick, and are just there so that the hospital can make bank?

You should really blow the lid off of this thing if you have this kind of insider information.

This has been the under current since it was discovered and openly talked about on some sources that it was the real deal. No, not all of them but we have seen a lot of reports on fudged numbers etc as this progresses.

Yes there are some seriously sick folks in the ICU. I just want to know more about who they are. Not names but age/medical issues/etc and so on.

I recall seeing video of Biden promising a mandate to wear a mask anywhere outside your house, even on your own property. I will grant that he may not have remembered saying it 5 minutes later, but that is what he said.

Hospitals prioritizing money over the good of patients, who ever heard of such a thing?

As long as .gov is picking up the tab, there is no reason not to admit. The only surprising fact is that they haven't been able to come up with enough "abundance of caution" admittances to start filling tents in the parking lots.

The 2 large admission and overflow tents set up outside Methodist Hosp. were never used. They sit empty. Drove by there yesterday.

I'm not talking about regular admits. I'm talking about ICU. Do you actually believe that there are people in ICU that are "not particularly sick," as you put it?

Got anything other than "I bet they are doing this?"

You'd think that the evil bastards at the hospital would have taken advantage of all of the money they could have made by filling them with people who are not particularly sick.

He took flack for it and tried to walk it back, but THEN said his lawyers told him he would be able to do it.

Where ever my GPS says I am
Union Hospital in Terre Haute set up and used for a short time, an admission tent. It was taken down but I wonder if it will go back up at some point. It kept the potential covid patients from walking through the ER area with non potential covid patients.

    OK enough.

There were many instances that numbers were skewed and people were in that system when the incentives came out. Finding "Evidence" beyond testimony's on line will be as tough as finding the election BS because you wont find it.

The snarky responses we have gotten used to giving and seeing of late are pushing to many buttons.
I am merely stating what I have seen and heard. Believe it or don't as I could give a crap.

My wife and I both work in health care. Those of you poo-pooing "greedy hospitals" need to sit down and STFU because I've seen multiple instances of places bending over backward to keep their employees on the payroll in spite of losing major revenue sources (and skirting close to bankruptcy) due to an inability to perform "voluntary" surgeries. I'm sure @hoosierdoc can weigh in, as well.

Thank God the heart valve replacement my father in law needed that @$#@!#$% Holcomb's crew somehow deemed a "voluntary surgery" held out until things opened back up in early summer. Other people weren't as lucky.

Not Poo-Pooing hear. Just asking some questions that need to be answered.
