Anyone have any good stories of the time someone in the family convinced grandpa or grandma to suck the Nitrous out of the Reddi-whip can?

Brother it depends on the consumer.
I am OK with the Redi-Whip but the hand made offerings take me back to the family farm when not much of anything was "Packaged" and everything was made by hand.

sadly, the weather didn’t cooperate and I had to resort to the slow cooker.

Still turned out tasty. Three-four pound roast gone in one sitting- with three people.

If I make it from scratch, I'll also add a little extra sugar too.

Fresh whipped cream is really easy to make. The only difficulty is putting the mixing bowl in the freezer 20 minutes ahead of time.

Grew up with cool-whip on my pies.
I prefer reddi-whip now, it's just lighter and doesn't cover up the pie flavors.

Real whipped cream... rare that I get it.

In 1991 we were making desert and the cat swatted the wife's hand, so I blasted the cat with what was in my hand, the can of whipped creme. We still laugh about that day.

For Thanksgiving desert we're having some flavor of cheese cake with ginger snap crust. It'll be awesome like always.

Cool Whip, I can eat that by itself. LOL

The family knows I love Chocolate Cake and Brownie's and that I love putting Cool Whip on the brownies. Everyone started eating brownies with Cool Whip after trying it.
One Birthday dinner I threw some Cool Whip on my cake and a new craze was born.

Redi-Whip, it's OK, needs to be ice cold, real whipped cream nope, the few instances I've had it, didn't like it.

Always cool whip on brownies. I don't know of anything chocolate that cool whip doesn't go with. As a matter of fact, put it on anything sweet and it can't hurt anything.
