My Dr said to treat it like flu season and Proper hand washing as stated above. So I gather it can be and probably is transmitted from surfaces to hand to nose, mouth, or eyes just like the flu and about every other bad bug out there. I've been very diligent about not touching my face unless I wash or sanitize my hands with 75%-80% sanitizer. Sanitizer has to be on iirc 30 seconds to do the job.

Not sure about that. I always figured the doorknob on the restroom door with something on the order of half the people who use it NOT washing their hands after using the toilet was the worst. Good use for one more paper towel!
Now we have to be careful here, we are getting above our station here as dirty stinking gun show attendees, or so I read in this thread....

On a serious note I NEVER touch a bathroom door if at all possible, I use a towel, jacket tail, shirt tail, never touch with my hand

Same here. If I can't push it with my foot I use some intermediary.

On the tests I have read the bathroom door handles are cleaner than the menus by quite a bit. These tests were done before wuhu existed so they are looking at bacteria only.

They get cleaned by the establishment (maybe).

Many, many people like you and me use paper towels or something to open the door. That is why you so often see a waste receptacle right by the door. By using a paper towel we all are partially cleaning the handle very often.

Meh. As someone that grew up eating my share of bologna sandwiches with worm dirt and/or fish slime on my hands, I don't give bathroom doors a second thought. :dunno:

Nope. Calling respiration "spit" is straight-up Alinksy, and while you're okay with it, I'm not. It isn't colloquialism; it's intentional exaggeration to erect and demolish a straw man.
Calling the droplets that one tends to spew from one's mouth when talking "respiration" is not all that straightforward either.

Why can't we compromise and everybody wear a positive pressure plastic bubble on their heads tied to a rechargeable fanny pack purification unit? I don't have the patent. Honest!

    Conversation dew?
Do they really want to sp(L)it hairs on what comes out of a persons mouth while speaking?
This conversation would have been so over and done with if those that are cowering in fear and wearing masks would just stay home and have their goods delivered to them while the intelligent people went about their lives. Not good enough for the Karen's and Kevin's out there. We must conform to their way's because of risk factors that are not proven, and have no point for those that exist in reality. Carry on.

Couple more pages and this one is done peoples.
Make it good. The end of this one will set up if we gat another go at this topic.
You have to let it go to 5K. A simple yes or no question having 5K replies. That is epic.

There might be an award out there, some where. If you wear a ..................
