    Try this its interesting.....
Take your 45 single action, make sure its empty, put in crossdraw. Draw the 45, kinda fast like a shootout. Leave trigger finger out of trigger guard and thumb on hammer cocking it as you draw. Notice... You only have three fingers (middle, ring and little), supporting the pistol. I dropped mine twice before I put my trigger in the trigger guard for support.
Also dropped the hammer a couple of times by bumping the trigger while bringing my thumb back to grip.
PS.. I never pulled the trigger but I did "fire" the pistol. The difference.. I made sure mine was empty as anyone handling a real gun has the individual responsibility to do.
Does your single action have a transfer bar or a floating firing pin?
How many clicks do you hear when cocking it?

I still don't buy the whole story.
Me either, this is about money and power. To be able to kill someone and get away with it. I know the murder was not intended.
If it were you or I, there wouldn't be all this "to do" about it.
We would be in jail on involuntary manslaughter if we were lucky enough to avoid an outright murder charge.

Sorry but your last sentence is inaccurate. Responsibility does not apply to those in Movie industry .

There's 3 clicks on that gun. And the trigger is the only way to go live.

But, but, it was broken. Or it is now.:dunno:
Since I am not a gun guy, by that I mean I do not have a whole lot of knowledge beyond the platform I use, and have never handled a revolver.

please elaborate 3 clicks ? Like quarter half and full Cock?

I think my Cimarron has 4.
Barely back, the firing pin is blocked.
    Half cock for loading.
Another click when the cylinder locks up. And full cock.

You can't fire it with the hammer.
I like my Smith and Wessons better.

Thank you thought it might be something like that but never hurts to ask.

Emily Miller has a story on 'the Federalist'
She posted about it on FB.

And of course I see comments about, it was all to go after Baldwin, it was not a shooting range, he was NOT responsible.

    Anyone interested in agreeing/disagreeing?
(note: I disagree. I think he was responsible.)
    Discussion on FB
go down to 'Alec Baldwin gets the best Justice money can buy'
Hate to say it but he is not responsible they have different standards there . Far be it for anyone to expect any degree of accountability.

I don't buy even half of it.
After hearing that man ( and I use that term VERY loosely) try to talk his way out of the recording he left for his daughter ( of 13 I believe) I cannot respect or believe anything associated with him.

EXTRA, EXTRA, read all about it! New and interesting developments for Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, she is now being charged with tampering with evidence. Apparently, she did not want to be caught with dope so she hid it by giving it to someone else.

I mostly don't care what people do in their free time, off the clock. However, when dealing with firearms it wouldn't be at the top of my list to have any drugs that could affect safety anywhere nearby.

Justice is slow but its' wheels still turn.

    Regards,

    Doug

Would really like to see that happen, then the matter could be adjudicated in a court of law.

Personally I can not stand the *** Hat but regardless I think he should have his day in court. And let the evidence be heard.
