      Deer Season-Does?

Unless you own several thousand acres, this type of population evaluation isn't close to being accurate. Deer will travel miles.

Defer to the Experts. Best EDC Blade for FF/Paramedics

As metioned above, I don't think I'd have "glass breaker" as criteria for a knife for professional rescue personnel. Other more appropriate tools are used for glass breaking.

      Gun for coyote hunting

The .22-250 provides coyote devastation that is hard to match. High velocity thin jacket bullets wreak havoc in the small body of coyotes. Remington 700 VS topped with a Leupold VX III 6.5-20 for me. If you can call them in close (60yds), a 12 gauge with high brass will easily do the trick...

What is your EDC blade? Do you carry one?

I have a lengthy edc rotation that come from all areas of the knife spectrum. Spyderco, Buck, Benchmade, Cold Steel, CRK, Strider, etc. Love'em all. 95% of the time it's a folder.

      Which knife?

I'd step up to an ESEE 3 MIL. For self defense, I'd like a sharpened swedge. A bit more costly, but a knife well worth the money.

Blind Horse Knives is no more

The Maverick Colt is one of my favorite knives for everything. I've even field dressed two deer with it this year. I may have to get another. Mine is black micarta, I like the natural also.
