      Because the lower would be printed on a 3d printer. I guess you could put a serial number on it if you wanted, it just wouldn't mean much. Yes. The main part of the question is actually the 3d printed part. Since up until very recently homemade guns were totally inferior to modern firearms...

      Interesting. I said yes, naturally. I figured a opened carried, rifle caliber "pistol" with no serial would be the biggest thing to make an officer give you the 3rd degree.

      Technically that's a straw purchase. So no, not legal. My wife can't even buy a gun a give it to me, and we are both Indiana residents.
