      talked to a lady in the office by the name of jody, and she stated it is a go until the firearms season starts. Then it becomes a draw hunt

      Does anyone have or know someone who has land around the hendricks county area that would be willing to let me hunt during archery season. I can pay a little or trade huntng rights for work or a little of both.

      i wasnt aware that it was a draw only hunt, the only thing it says on the dnr website is that you have to check in at the office before you go out. If that is the case, this season is going to suck.

      Good news from bad

      I think all counties should have some sort of safe area to do transactions like that. But until then, having good situational awareness and even possibly having someone ride shotgun with a shotgun ( or a handgun for the element of surprise) is going to have to be the next best thing.
