This fall/winter I seen the oddest thing. Late one evening as I was driving down the road a house had only 1 green bush/shrub in their yard. The deer were standing around it like cattle around a hay bale. There were eating away on the thing.
I have almost all the call types there are. I have electronic, homemade electronic, hand calls, but I do not have any homemade calls.
Do any of you make your own calls?
I used to put on my sony walkman and walk the fields for hours. Thinking about it now I bet people that I was insane out there walking around in fields.
For me its outdoors all I can get.

August - Squirrel hunting

Its great.
I could only shoot if it was in self defense, there would always be that thought in my mind that it was a person dressed up for a joke. And a mistake like that is definitely not worth shooting.
Are there any nuisance feral hot populations in Indiana? We thought we were safe in Illinois but it seems like we have a couple spots were they got started.
I have had my best luck finding arrowheads right after a farm field was planted and it just got rained on. The only problem is most of the time they were chipped from the farm equipment.
