Anybody seen a Tavor collapsible charging handle?

There are aftermarket handles for the FS2000 that do what you want, perhaps they'll work here -- or could be the basis of having a working part CNC'd

      For all Liberal Gun Owners

Just the terms "conservative" and "liberal" paint with too broad a brush. Thinking that gays should be allowed to be "married" -- makes you liberal?

Who is invading, when are they arriving, and why didn't someone tell me ?

The really annoying thing is a gun I've been looking for for a while came up for sale, and now they're asking x2 the normal price. If anyone has a Steyr AUG A3 NATO or a MSAR AUG that uses STANAG magazines, ping me.

      Yet Another Enemy Emerges

So does the church have to comply with the same laws as other Not For Profits, e.g. 501(c) or is there a special designation for them? How do those so called "prosperity ministries" dodge taxes like they do -- when they're obviously for the benefit of the "preacher" in charge?

      Yet Another Enemy Emerges

I don't understand why churches don't have to comply with the same not-for-profit legislation that other organizations follow. It doesn't seem like it'd be that complex? Perhaps they already are, there's just a special category for them which is more lax? I know most churches are doing...

      Bushmaster CARBON receivers?

Sure, and all the pressure bearing portions of the Bushmaster Carbon-15 are still steel -- the barrel, breech, bolt etc. It's only the upper and lower receiver bodies that are poly. I didn't take it apart, but I'd guess most of the lower parts kit is metal too.

      Bushmaster CARBON receivers?

I shot one this weekend, had the carbon front end on it and a fixed carbon stock. It was extremely light weight, which I really liked. The front end was very comfortable oval shape. I was impressed with it. No idea on it's reliability after thousands of rounds, but we've seen these types of...

      You're Being Tracked

For Chrome I recommend "Ghostery", also there's "Edit This Cookie" to show you what is being stored on your computer by every website you visit. Make sure you run good antivirus, invest in your own protection. Kaspersky is what I recommend. And don't use weak passwords.

      The future of Obamacare?

Unless you have the billion dollars to spend, those decisions are already being made for you -- by the insurance companies or medicaid. Whoever is footing the bill is in control.

      The future of Obamacare?

You've had health insurance by virtue of your ability to walk in to any ER and not being turned away. Perhaps you haven't used it yet, but tens of thousands of other people did. And taxpayers footed the bill. So ACA may be a huge gift to the health insurance companies, it also means that...

      Information Preparadness

Here's a question that may not have been asked: How do you prepare to keep information available? For example, survival books are all well and good, but not very portable and not searchable. What about the subset of Wikipedia that would be valuable -- maps, yellow pages, medical references...

AR15's. What are you NOT a fan of?

Looks like I'm late to this party. Some of these have already been covered: Charging Handle Recoil spring tube (non folding stock) Bolt release/hold open Direct impingement (fouling, reliance on 3 washers not being aligned) Non ambidextrous Did I mention the charging handle? I'm...

      buying silver

Ah that's not a reference to buy, it's a way an easier way to view the (approx) spot price over time. Kitco is closer to "spot" price, but those graphs are hard to read. I suggested NWTMint for purchasing. If you're looking to do some day trading speculation on silver, ZSL (2x short) and...
