      imr sr 4756

4756 is a slower powder, therefore you can load hotter rounds. Burn Rate I haven't tried it in 9mm but with 45 acp I've pushed my 200 lswc well over 1000 fps.

NO POWDER IN A PISTOL LOAD

Like others have said, it's called a squib. They can be dangerous if the bullet goes far enough down the bore for you to cycle another round in. You can usually tell when it happens because the sound and felt recoil are different, plus the case doesn't extract properly. I have a light setup...

Lee Turret Press, good for beginners?

Lots of good answers here, and I'll agree with it being a good beginning press. I'd definitely recommend it before a progressive. I have probably 5k through my lee turret and it's still going strong.

      XDS thoughts

I have a bit of an issue with the grip safety. I own a 5.25 xdm 9mm and a compact 45 xd. The 5.25 i use to shoot USPSA production and steel matches. I love both guns, they fit my hands well, are very accurate, reliable, and they look great. With that said, twice now I've had a FTF when...

      IWB holster for Sig 1911

I use the Minotaur Mtac from comp-tac with mine. It's a really well made hoslter, and you can buy different shells so that it will accept multiple guns.

      Workout Food (Before & After)

What is a 'workout'? You talking endurance type aerobic activities(running, cycling, swimming) or strengthening(weight lifting, Insanity, p90x, etc)? Each workout has different nutritional requirements.

      RIA 1911

I've had a GI RIA for a couple of months now. Compared to my Kimber, it's seemingly as accurate, chews through different ammo types, and feels just as tight. I don't like sights on the GI model, but unfortunately they didn't have a tactical for sale when I bought it. I don't like the...

Where to find velcro gun belts?

That's it! Thanks! The site says order 4" up from waist size. Does anyone know how accurate that is?

Where to find velcro gun belts?

I saw a lot of people wearing them at the USPSA shoot this weekend. I think they may be called "duty belts" but I'm not sure. There was an inner belt w/an outer belt attached with velcro. It looks like a convenient, comfortable way to carry all my stuff. I'm having a hard time finding them...

      The Official Redbrush/WSSC IDPA Thread

I can't speak for Magtech, but I can tell a difference with certain primers. For instance, Sellior and Bellot primers are a lot harder than Winchester or CCI so seating depth is pretty critical otherwise you get light primer strikes. On top of that, they don't seat as easily as the others...
