The paddle release is really a plus for me. I have weird long thumbs and the mag release on most guns are never in the right spot for me. I usually trip the paddle with the middle finger without effort or thought. The VP's the first handgun I've seen the fits my goofy paws.
Chiappa Rhino DS20. It's fugly like a bulldog, kinda rare, and not cheap. It is very easy shooting with .357 mag, and disappears on the body quite readily. The grip looks tiny, but I get a good solid grip on it with all fingers. I have large hands with long fingers. You really have to put it...
^^^THIS^^^ I know some TV-types and from what they've told me the one I would have expected to notice was the lady being interviewed. People on-air the first time tend to be nervous and look around a lot and shift nervously if they are the focal point. She, however, was a seasoned PR person...
I'd be up for a durable work-truck model depending on the price-point of course. Loading mags is kind of Zen and all, up until I'm sick of it and just want the rounds to orderly file their way in on their own. :D

That is a fair point, if a bit of an outlier. That is definitely a valid scenario and one I hadn't considered as I look forward to reloading.
I had a chance to shoot it again yesterday... still much fun. The .357 is becoming more manageable as I adapt to it. It does make people pay attention...
So I'm a tall and lanky guy. I always joke my VP9 has more butt than I do, so there's not much geography to help mask it. Clothing that fits my torso without looking like I'm wearing a tent tends to print very easily with it.
The Rhino has a shorter grip and it is at a different angle, I...
I have a Rhino 2" that I got for just the same reason as you are looking for one. In a few weeks when Indy Arms opens up (54th St + Keystone in Indy) I'll be able to bring it there and meet with people wanting to try out this little oddball.
I like it quite a bit and is easier to carry than my...
