Thanks! Local fixed it, and said it would be at the top of the list. Still a little aggravated that I paid extra and drove 30 miles to be fingerprinted, and it took this long. I know everyone makes mistakes. I'm hoping it will be here soon! :)
I went to the mailbox today and found my husband's ltch. He applied 3 weeks after me, and he did the old fashion fingerprints (I did L1). I called ISP, and they have never received my app from local. UGH! I've been waiting 5 months for nothing! Local is checking on it and is supposed to be...
I'm still new to carrying, but so far my favorite holster is the Foxx holster. It is a hybrid similar to the Crossbreed. The style is very comfortable, and works well with jeans, or even skirts.
I have little ones, so my gun is in a safe on the night stand. I can access my gun very quickly, but the kiddos can't. My husband also keeps his guns close, but locked up.
My husband has a western reenactment group and after a show we have gone there with several cowboys all with their western holsters oc-ing. No one said anything about the guns.
Also, I ate there with my family the other day. I know one of my cousins was carrying concealed, and my brother...
I don't have one of these yet, but it's on my wish list. :)
From what I understand part of the gun tucks up into the bra cup. Maybe the support of the underwire helps with retention?
Yes, Yes, and Yes! Awesome post! As a Stay at Home, Homeschooling Mom I'm always with my kids and these things are always on my mind. A Mom (or Dad) has so much more to protect than just herself.
We aren't really near you, but I have a neighbor that sells them for $8-$12. I've bought a metal one and a and plastic one from him. They are food grade. Maybe search craigslist and see if anyone near you has them for sale. Check your local paper, and if there is a feed store around ask them.
