      +1 to the Fort Knox top-opening safe posted above. I have one in my nightstand and it is great. It's small enough that it fits inside my nightstand, but large enough for 2 compact handguns and a few mags.

      Ball State U. weapon policy

      I went there, and +1 to what Dmarsh said. I carried a lot at BSU. On campus, off campus, to the bar(probably not the best idea, though)...I just always had it on me. CC and there will be no issues. And hey, Ball State was the best 7 years of my life!

      During: A constant awareness that I need to keep an eye on people behind me. I was ultra protective of my strong side. After: Nothing... I would say I OC about 70% of the time. In the summer it's much more often. When I do CC, I never have more than a shirt over the gun and the holster peeks...

      Home Robbery 79th and College Ave. Indianapolis

      what type of double mag carrier do you carry?

      I have a Fobus double mag carrier...paddle-style, not belt-loop. It gets the job done, however it has little sharp plastic parts that dig into my side. Maybe, if I lost a few pounds it would help.

      What I tell my friends and family why they should have a gun

      I have a buddy who was a Knoxville cop through the Christian/Newsom murders. They were just a couple leaving an apartment. They were abducted and met horrific demise. Christian/Newsom Murders It's one of the many instances I quote if someone I care about needs justification to carry a gun.

      I carried to class a few times. IWB in the small of my back. It was very easy during the winter months to conceal, and as long as you don't make it obvious, no one would ever know. I did live off campus, though. So I never had to worry about my dorm room mate coming across my gun in my desk...
