Reading the Indy star reporting of this has the spokesman officer saying the shooting was accidental.
It was obviously negligent not accidental.
It also says shots plural which would account for how two people were hit.

I believe that Indiana law is silent about carrying in establishments that serve alcohol. Other states, like VA, specifically make this unlawful.
I thought there was a code that had verbage about being intoxicated and having a firearm but I can't seem to find that now.
Just appreciate the laws that support your right to carry a handgun here in Indiana.
In Virginia, where this happened, and many other states, it is against the law to carry a firearm into ANY place that has a license to serve alcohol. This means if you go to Pizza Hut you would be breaking...
So was the gun taken and noted that it had been fired? Was the slug recovered from the ground? Were there any witnesses that saw this gun being fired by Liberty? Hmmm... Does an admission of a violation automatically mean guilty?

I have blown out way too many fiberglass poles. Granted these were all on the cheaper tents.
Aluminum are much more sturdy for me but you do have to be careful not to bend them.
Your higher end tents are usually aluminum poles.
I personally carry a mountain hardware tent or a north face bivy...
