      Update about Michinana Shooting News

Nice coverage at the "Cold War" match. I was fortunate to receive the $50 cash + 1oz Silver bar for high shooter using iron sights award. Thanks a lot Michiana Shooting News. Long live the Republic!

New season of top shot starts tonight

I would like to see a challenge with a dangerous game rifle, perhaps for the elimination challenge. More muzzleloading guns would be nice too. Morgan's Riflemen challenge could be interesting. I also agree with the soap opera stuff. Just shoot guns and only talk about guns, ammo and the guns and...

Muzzleloader event. This will be my first time there. It is Aug. 5,6,7. I think the shooting is mostly on Saturday. Events include several shooting contests, primitive archery, hawk and knife, "Trapper's Crapper", a four man team event, etc.

I have shopped at Granger Guns for years. Always helpful. I buy tens of dollars of merchandise and ask thousands of questions. Always a pleasant experience. I don't really need to shop anywhere else, but I dive in to other shops from time to time. I like Rocket Guns in Goshen. They have a good...

Firearms that caused the greatest political change.

Which firearm in history influenced the politics of this country, or the world the most? Browning 1900 used to assassinate the Archduke Ferdinand and his wife, sparking WWI? Perhaps the Carcano 91/38 Rifle used to assassinate JFK? Brown Bess, the AK-47...???

Whatdya' Get at the Nappanee Gun Show

As I was walking back in the front door a gentleman had a Savage bolt-action rifle in one hand and the Seneca in the other. I dropped the antlers and eagerly requested permission to handle the Seneca. He said he bought it from someone at the show, he claimed it to be unfired. After cleaning the...

Whatdya' Get at the Nappanee Gun Show

I bought five old Gun Digest books some T/C 45 cal Maxi Balls, cleaning patches and a T/C Seneca in 36cal, a dual cavity round ball / conical 36cal mold, etc... I sold all of my deer antlers too! My buddy got a Navy Arms 1851 Colt Navy revolver in 44cal + extras. This was one of my best trips to...
