The SR22 was flawless with Remington Golden Bullets so it should eat about anything. We probably put 250-300 rounds through it. I will have to get it sighted in and should be good to go. glad to see others had the same issue and not just me. The M&P may get a file taken to the trigger for now. I...
Picked up an M&P 40 and a Ruger SR22 a couple weeks ago. Finally got them out today. The SR22 sights were way off. I was not even hitting the target at about ten yards. Found it was way low and left. Adjusted height and have it pretty close but it is still way left. I would have thought it to be...
Bonkers, I have thought about the WMR. A buddy bought a Ruger last year that he has still not shot. I was hoping to get my hands on it. I like the CZ for the fact I can get the .17 HMR barrel and the .22. I can find .17 HMR ammo but not .22.
For the moles, my best solution so far has been to put a garden hose in the tunnels on a low flow. It floods the tunnels and they have to come out for air. When they do, dispose of them as you wish.
They guy using beer and such must have seen the old Jerry Baker shows on PBS. Seems like the...
Thanks for the responses. I don't need anything high end. Most of my shooting would be 100 to maybe 150 yards. I may have to expand my search. That Savage looks nice. I like the looks of the Ruger, but something always draws me back to a wood stock.
I've been thinking about a .22 for target shooting. I know everyone likes the 10/22 but I am thinking bolt action (help keep the boys from going through ammo like candy). I kind of like the Ruger American but I don't think there are many upgrades out there. I like the looks of the CZ 455 and...
The new MC Sports opened in Michigan City yesterday. I was surprised to find firearms and ammunition. Did not have much time to look, but the prices did not seem too terrible.
Aim Surplus had stocks available a while back. I was going to use one of those to refinish. That way I would still have the original. But, as always , I wait a day on something and then they are gone.
I have some epoxy wood putty that I got from Lowes that does not smell too bad. I can not remember the brand. I have used it for a lot of different things and it works pretty well. Just try to get close to the finished shape because it sands harder than bondo.
