    • It is really amazing just how prescient Mark Twain was at the end of Tom Sawyer when he talked about those who were weeping at the demise of Indiana Joe "from their perpetually leaky waterworks". In this case, however I think they are perpetually "twisted skivvies" on the part of some firearms trainers...
Thanks for the rep! I tried to rep you earlier but the rep masters won't let me. I am amazed some businesses are still in existence with some of the reactions here.
Thanks for the rep. I sense that you have to much integrity and passion for the 2A to let a little internet dust-up deter you from your goals. Carry on.
Part of the School is to instill in them that they are Immortal and can push farther and harder than anyone else... One of the reasons Rangers will fight past when most others have stopped...
Thanks for the Rep. No offense was taken. Rangers are great at what they do. Just as Marine Recon has a role that Rangers just cannot perform as well... There is some overlap and they are mildly interchangable. But it diminishes what each is trained and prepared for...
Well if you want one I've got one sitting around. PM me your address and I'll throw it in an envelope to you.
w/ the internet the way it is today most if not all the information a gunsmith knows is there, if you are able to decifer what you are reading, then practice it until you become perfect at it.
apprenticeships are nice. I have a small one thats been onging a day or two a week for the last 3-4 years, but i am a quick learner, and most of what i know is self taught anyways. I am the rare exception to the rule though, because i am not learning it as i lean on it for primary income. Its just a self supporting business that grows as i make money. you dont HAVE to have an apprenticeship. Just the drive.
There are three major (and accredited) gunsmithing colleged that are legit. Its a 4 year degree in tool and die making, but its really gunsmithing. trinidad is one. then there is one in north carolina i believe.

also one smaller (and not as accredited but seems decent from what i hear) in southern indiana.
It's all good, It's not the first time I've seen this phenomenon and I'm certain it won't be the last!
I don't know whether or not you have signed up, but I have the admission tickets, now and am starting to mail them out.
Five dollars, as listed on the enrollment form. Looking forward to meeting you and the other two, in May.
Taking enrollments May 19, Legal Aspects of Personal Safety seminar.
Still lining up a prosecutor and either a sheriff or chief of police.

No problem. No offense at all. Yep, the NRA is a very politically driven organization, which can be both good and bad. It is far from a perfect organizaiton, but, for better or for worse (mostly better) it is the one exceedingly strong lobby that "stands in the gap." Without the NRA, we of the 2A genre would be hurtin' for certain!

I am assuming you either are or were active duty. If so, I salute you and owe you a debt of gratitude that cannot be repaid.

      Stay safe!
Thanx Kid. You have a great way with words and I REALLY appreciate your insight and grasp of the situation.. Thank you for the level headedness and doing a great job of standing up to some big ego-ed idiots. They amaze me. They need some air. (and an ego check!)
      Thanx again!
