glad to see some love on here for the P-07... great piece that is often overlooked.
When things aren't crazy-pandemic-election, they can be found for very affordable prices.
If you want magazine compatibility... I like the combo of a P-01 (or PCR) and a full size 75 - like the SP-01 Shadow. The...
follow-up:
I currently have a 75 Shadow (not the SP-01, but the steel framed "Shadow lite" with no rail, no firing pin block [thus the "shadow" designation]), and I love it! These aren't nearly as common from the CZ custom shop in AZ.
Every now and then I wish I had a rail, but I have other...
For carry (of mainly for carry), I agree that the P-01 and the PCR are the best for carry, followed closely by the P-07 (hammer fired, polymer lower).
If carry is not the main objective - then any of the CZ75 family would do. My favorite would be a standard 75, 75 SP-01 shadow, 75 Shadow (no...
I think the newest gen BD come really nicely appointed. Grips, sights, etc
I haven't gotten hands on a regular "B" in a few years.
Main difference is if you prefer a real safety OR a decocker (with no "safe" position).
I would ultimately get whatever is most similar to your other CZs...
resurrecting old thread -
I'm wanting to shoot 45 super out of a FNX 45 Tac, using a basic comp to help slow slide speed, this will be a backup woods gun (if in bear/cougar country). The choices are a 357 revolver, or this suped up 45.
So, anyone shooting 45 super?
I was also looking at 460...
They're not winning beauty pageants... BUT I would really consider one of these in 357/38.
The only other option that was factory THREADED **AND** SIDE LOADING GATE was the marlin, or customizing another.
I'm really gald to see a Henry in 357 with side loading gate
If you want to shoot any conversion in .22 LR, the Kadet is the best option (IMHO).
It may require minor fitment (sanding), but mine fit perfect. If pairing with a newer production CZ, the fit will likely be perfect/very close with little/no fitting needed.
My 75 had a lighter spring kit and I...
Hi all - I'm curious about the *new* Super Gp100 9mm 8-shot revolver from their custom shop, specifically the bore diameter. Anyone happen to know if it's. 355, .356, .357, etc?
Also, is it the same as the sp101 9mm bore?
I know these are very specific questions, but I have little interest in...
I have a DW Specialist and love it. The TRP was #2 on the list and easily could have come home with me. I found the DW I wanted, in the finish I wanted, and that won the day! (I wanted a rail on mine)
The DW Pointman series is awesome as well.
lots of good ideas... need more info.
Does "rifle" mean bolt-gun or semi-auto?
Any caliber/range of calibers you're considering. Does long range mean 300 yds or 1200 yds for you?
Does hitting power of a Ford pickup mean enough to take a deer at 500 yds, or punch through a vehicle at 1000 yds...
Awesome that he won it!!
It's a screaming round. If you always run the hottest stuff, it can be a bit of a barrel burner - but most people don't shoot enough to make that a big issue.
One of the things I wish somebody had told me about the 22-250 is that most factory guns have slow twist rates...
Depending how serious he is - some people make those comments without actually wanting to go shooting - I'd consider taking him.
A 20 minute safety + hand-on session (no ammo, not at range) would give you a good idea of his abilities.
I try to take some new people shooting when possible, and...
