I am trying something new this time -- taking my wife for the first time, then doing dinner. She has heard me talk about the 1500 for years, and wants to see the 'show'. Who knows, maybe I can talk her into letting me buy her something . . . you know, for her . . . really! Not for me, honest . . .
Been to both. Good people at both places. More shooting options at WV, but fishing and such at Linden. As mentioned above, competitions and high power rifle available at WV.
I currently belong to WV and like it very much.

Yep -- late bloomer here. Did some shotguns with Dad when I was a kid (pheasant & quail in Illinois) but nothing more. A few years ago, when I was pushing 50, a guy at work got me interested. Talked it over with the wife and thought we could make it a hobby together, but she didn't take the bait...
I have one and enjoy it. It is not anything close to a 'Cadillac', but they are fun to shoot, inexpensive, and mine never fails to fire. It also seems to be accurate, as others have said here. My old eyes seem to have no trouble shooting out to 75 yards with it without any problem. I would say...
