Nice write-up, Trapper.
Been reloading 9mm for about 12 years and loved the fact that I could reload for less than have the cost of factory range ammo. Not so much of a savings now days but I still get to shoot more, or so they say.
I really learned more about reloading after I bought a couple...
I hear you . . . From working in a STEM field to now working as an editor/publisher in a STEM field, what I see passing as science now is disgusting. As smokingman puts it, "you can not trust scientific papers any longer" and it has been that way in my organization for the last 10 years or so.
Very timely topic . . . I am in the process of moving my reloading areas from a spare bedroom and tool shed to the garage. Garage is well insulated for fall and winter reloading - No jacket required!. I decap brass and do case prep during the summer. Am planning to keep powder, primers, and...
An FNS 9c has been my go-to CC since 2015, usually in a StealthGear holster. Of my pistols, it is the one that is most comfortable in my hand and the one I shoot the best.
Well that explains it . . . I got a letter from Wayne over the weekend begging for money to stem the impending doom of the NRA . . . It went in the shredder.
Well, with the stay-at-home stuff, I moved the reloading operation from the house to the garage (needed the space in the house for an office). Not optimal and would like to get a dedicated bench in the garage for the press and supplies.
Yep . . . I own an FNS 9, 9c, and FNX-45. The FNS 9 pushed a Glock 19 to the back of the safe, the 9c replaced a Glock 26, which was traded for the FNX-45. The FNS 9c is one of two EDC pistols and the FNS 9 wears a light and serves bedside duty . . . I've had no problem with any of the FN's.
I switched to a fiber optic front and a plain back rear sight on my 75D PCR . . . Certainly better than the stock sights. Also, changed to LOK grips because the stock palm swells were just a bit big.
Bingo.
I've been in STM editing/publishing for nearly 30 years covering a few different topics. There is an awful lot of BS in all areas of research and science. My lifelong interest in science is nearly gone because of the paid-for, expected results.
