      Thanks everyone! I have been in the works on a box mag that holds the 50 round tear drop mag. I would have use the Pro Mag 50 round drum, but it is not worth a darn in feeding any kind of ammo. The SAW M 249 stock is very heavy due to it being made from all steel. It weighs 13 and 1/2 pounds...

      Scope recommendations for a 10/22

      I have a Leaper`s 4x16x40 scope, and its the berries. At night it still not bad, even for a 40 mm front lens. It cost me $60.00 buck, well worth it. For a Ruger 10 22 , one don`t need a thousand dollar scope any ways ha ha.

      You wee lucky, my SKS had cosmoline in every place there could have been. It took me several hours to clean it up. That will be the last time I buy a rifle like that. Good for you though.:):
