I have very limited space myself, so I mounted my RL550B on a workmate work bench. When i'm done reloading I unbolt the press, put it in a plastic tub, fold up the workmate and hang it on the wall. It also makes it nice and portable to take to the range so I can load and test at the range.
I got home and pulled it out of the safe it's a 1981 according to oldguns.net i'm seeing between $300 and $600 on the web does anybody have the new gun bluebook to confirm the price for me?
I was hoping one of you guys could help me out I’m trying to finance a new rifle buy trading or selling a few little used but greatly loved rifles, but I am having a hard time finding a reasonable price for my 3030, the web is all over the place with this one. The rifle is in near perfect shape...
Do any of you guys or gals use X-Treme Bullets plated bullets? I am looking for a new load for some IPSC competition and general plinking. X-Treme Bullets are $15 to $25 per 1000 cheaper than any other plated bullets I can find. I am looking at the 180 RNFP for $103.00 per 1000 shipped. Have you...
Anybody want these 38-40 rounds? I did pull a couple apart and the powder still looks good, I suppose they could be shot the lead on the tip is oxidizing.
Sorry I reached into the can blind and managed to grab 2 of the only 3 44-40's in the can. I am trying to clean out enough stuff in my basement to make me a reloading station.
I would love to cast my own; I just don't have the room to do it now. I still need to load jacketed too because both indoor places I shoot at don't allow lead.
Unfortunately just 3 the rest of the can is filled with 38-40. They are crimped tight too maybe 100-150 rounds. You can have them if you want them, they aren’t worth my time.
I was given a coffe can full of loaded 44-40 rounds, is it worth the time or trouble to pull them apart for the brass? I know the stuff isn't cheap, I was going to bribe the kid with a speedway slurpie to pull, then maybe trade it for some 38/357 lead. What is 44-40 brass going for?
I see we have 2 sticky threads for buying ammo, where are the links for the guys that like to roll their own? I bought a ton of stuff when my local supplier went out of business, but I’m running out and having a heart attack looking at some of these prices. The last time I bought primers the box...
Where are the Huntertown Arms guys at? If I didn't get my material for free I don't think I could make a can for what they sell them for. I'm actually looking at buying one of their cans to play with and give me something to work towards, very quality stuff. Don't get me wrong I do not want to...
