      Do i need to put a plug or screw into these holes for strength? They are fairly deep and closer to the chamber than i would have put them, but i figure Big Green knows what they're doing.       Thought about it some more and would a single taper have chance to crush the shoulder than several smaller ones? Say a cone vs a stepped transition? Just thinking out loud here?

      Im trying to figure out which expander plug style would be the best to go from 224 to 6mm. I plan on making what i need on the lathe but is the Lyman m style tge best. Or the good ole tapered plug? Or should i just put a steady long taper on a pin? Any advice is appreciated

      I have a manson reamer, my first and only so far. I sprang for the removable pilot. Well now i have 5 manson pilot bushings. Next up i need a gritters type indicating rod and ptg has them $3 cheaper than manson and ptg's bushings are slightly cheaper also i cant seem to find tgrough google...

      I looked over on green mountains website and the barrel the y list as 17 hornady has same 169/173 bore groove as rest of 17 barrels. I wonder if hornady is using the swage to increase accuracy and velocity??????? I will try and figure out how to accurately slug my barrel and see what it is.
