You won't find many people that own an xdm saying bad about it. I've got an xdm 5.25 in .40. I LOVE it.
But you should definitely look at the s&w m&p, glock, Walther ppq, and obviously springer xdm lines. They're all equally reliable and good. Just pick the one that feels best to you.
As...
I'm all set. I'm not buying a damn thing until prices come back down. Only idiots are paying $1500 for a $700 gun. I won't be a part of that.
Everyone is going to feel pretty stupid for paying these prices once nothing passes the GOP lead house. All these bills are DOA after the shaft the...
Man.....you're listening to the crazies too much. Nothing's happening tomorrow that'll keep you from getting your assault rifle or high cap mags (other than the general shortages and back orders).
President Obama is not going to enact any sort of executive order on an awb or mag cap. He's not...
Don't the smiths have an external extractor that a lot of the 1911 junkies make fun of???
That being said, they're both good guns. Pick whichever is your favorite. You won't be disappointed with either.
Always heard they're jamomatics. Those, and the cz pump guns.
Only mainstream pumps I'd look at are the benelli, Remington, and mossberg. And out of those, I think the Remington is the best for reliability.
There's a reason everyone and their grandmother has an 870.
Bad customer service.....I refuse to deal with any company with bad customer service. There's so many other companies out there with great customer service that want to have your business.
Not only that.....you were asking if they would SELL you the part. They should have had no issue with...
If its in good condition, and you want to citalize on it, take it to the Indy 1500. I'm sure someone there will pay top dollar for it. Mark it for 200% of actual value OBO, and see what you can haggle for.
Photobucket has been screwing up my photos from the iPad. They appear right side up to me unless i use my desktop. Seems to be a glitch somewhere in the apple software.
You guys with non apple products can have fun viewing upside down pics hahaha
Just read your firearms manual. Mine specify that I can use .308 and 7.62x51, and specify a maximum and minimum operating pressure. Yours may be different.
Consult your reloading manual to see if you are within the firearm manufacturers spec.
Welcome. And nice first gun. You'll enjoy it for many years to come.
Now work on getting a pump shotgun for deer/birds, a home defense shotgun, an over/under shotgun for clays, semi auto rifle in .223 and .308, a varmint rifle for anything up to coyotes, a larger bore rifle for anything up to...
Just get a standard 26 or 28" version. You can find really nice mcondition used ones for cheap. Use this configuration for shooting clays. If you can, find a nice used older wingmaster. They're very nice shotguns.
Then buy an 18 or 20" barrel for home defense. The barrels are super easy to...
I used the nail polish method. I don't like the idea of putting crayon wax on my guns. Seems like something you'd do to a plastic toy, and seems like it'd wear off and look crappy in a hurry.
Method I used was:
1). Wipe area off with alcohol
2). Paint over the area with nail polish
3). Let it...
Just ask the magic 2 questions:
1). Are you an Indiana resident?
2). Can you legally possess a firearm?
If they answer yes to those 2 questions, you are good to go.
Cover your neck, and ask those 2 questions. There will be ATF agents there looking to arrest people. It's happened before.
