I've had no cycling issues with 187gr 300blk in the subsonic realms after over 500rds. I've found they have plenty of back pressure to cycle the bolt of an AR-15 type rifle. I know this may not be of too much help but if you're ever in the Terre Haute area you're welcome to come out with friends and I and shoot a host of 556 and 300blk suppressed SBR's and other rifles to get a feel for it. Just how quiet is a suppressed 300 blackout with subsonic ammo?
I'm running a 10.5" 300 blackout build with a Saker 762 suppressor. I've found even the 187gr subsonic rounds from Gemtech are hearing safe. I really love the flexibility of the Saker as well. Generally speaking when you ask the ATF about wait times you won't get very consistent answers from the individuals that work there. You are better off looking at the received stamps and the times they saw although those can spike and you can end up with longer. Right now times have gone up...- DocJekyll
