      I fixed my canted sight by laying it on a flat hard surface and hitting it with a mallot. put it in a vice and twist it. Its an ak. Buddy of mine fixed his crooked barrel by running it over with his car.

      I would wait a bit. The prices are coming down. I saw somplace on gun-deals.com that had them for 119. As for what to get, Tula marked has better collecting value. There is some question regarding hex or round receiver. Just buy the one you like and you wont be sorry.

      I think its dumb to pay for your rights. I leave my property once in a blue moon. And the slips fit in an envelope in my glovebox. Ive got around 25 and that covers about everywhere i need to go.

      I live in a not so good "hood" and the cops around here always have something to prove. plus i carry in a dropleg holster.

      I rarely do. but i printed out a bunch of "permission slips" that i keep in my car. if they wont sighn i leave my gun in the car. and if i go out of state i leAve it at home. then i take some mace and a telescoping baton.
