      I've suspected as much for some time. My Wal-Mart has an enormous sporting goods section (as far as Wal-Marts go) and NEVER, and I mean NEVER have handgun ammo any longer. The bone heads that work there act like they absolutely do not know when ammo is coming in (I've been told as much) and then...

      Cable lock or Trigger block?

      Most of the trigger locks shipped with my handguns were frankly... crap. Cable lock IMO is the way to go. Like you I have an antsy wife and even put the cable locks on handguns in the safe. Most gun stores will have them laying around in heaps and you can probably pick them up rather cheap.
