My powder shelf is well stocked with my main powders, I'm just looking for something new to try. Called 21st Century, didn't have any. Starting to look like my best bet. Thanks for all the responses. Glad to hear it works well in a 125gr lead 357 load. This is what I want to try in my...

Iver Johnson break action revolver need help with ID

Not sure if this is what you have , checking Numrich Gun Parts Corp. I found these grips for a IVER JOHNSON | OLD MODEL SAFETY HAMMER AUTO REVOLVER, US REVOLVER. Mossberg 500 or Remington 870

I have handled and shot quite a few Mossberg shotguns, never have liked the feel of most of them. Most of them belonged to friends and I never heard any complaints about them, my friends all seem happy with their Mossbergs. I personally have owned, shot and hunted with Remington shotguns for a...

      Ruger Super Blackhawk

I have had a 7.5 inch Super Blackhawk for 20 years. Great gun, love it. Will have it till the day I die. I also have a Blackhawk in .357 and a Single Six all great guns. All built like tanks. My .44 has eaten some hot handloads with no problems at all. I have also taken several deer with it. You...

      whats your favorite squirrel gun?

My favorite squirrel gun is my Ruger 77/22. Deadly accurate on squirrels, nothing but head shots. My first squirrel rifle was a Marlin 60, still take it out at least once a year. I also hunt with a Ruger Single Six when I fell like a challenge, nothing better than shooting squirrels with a...

Can I fire 22 magnum thru my 22 revolver?

The size difference between a 22lr and a 22mag is not enough for a 22lr round to drop entirely through a 22mag cylinder. The bullets on both rounds are .22 caliber. The main difference between the two cartridges, besides length, is the case diameter. The 22lr has a healed bullet, the bullet and...

      Ruger .357/38/9mm wheel gun.

The cylinder would have to be fitted to the gun preferably by Ruger, or at least a very good gunsmith.

      Ruger .357/38/9mm wheel gun.

In the .38/.357/9mm combo guns use two separate cylinders. One for .38/.357 and one for 9mm. Ruger uses the same two cylinder setup for 45 Colt/ 45acp. It would be almost impossible to setup a gun to correctly headspace on case taper for all the different manufacturers of ammo let alone...
