Either one is 100% good to go in my opinion. I have owned both and really would feel completely fine with either one. For the record I currently own a Glock.

I carry a Glock 26 iwb with the standard 10 round mag. I keep a 33 round mag in my vehicle. Depending on circumstances sometimes I carry a different quantity of spare magazines from 12 to 17 rounds.

I prefer the Taurus over the Beretta. I like the safety/decocker on the frame. I had a Taurus pt92 for awhile and it ran flawlessly and was a track driver.
Also the Beretta mags will work in the Taurus with a small modification. Look it up on YouTube. I had several surplus M9 mags for mine.
