Thoughts on a smoker for meat?

I have a Primo "egg style" ceramic smoker. Not as spendy as the BGE, but definitely gets the job done. I've cooked everything from wings, whole birds, ribs, brisket, pizza, you name it. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

What belt is everyone wearing these days?

I have a wilderness tactical reinforced belt that I wore up until 3 years ago. I have since lost ~50# (haven't been carrying), and it's way too big for me. It's definitely time that I start carrying again, so looking for recommendations. Thanks in advance. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Today had it's downs & ups....

Ha! You passed me headed west out of Westfield a day or two ago. As you passed, I thought, "I bet that's Phylo." The truck looks great, and that went through my head as well. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Trying to catch a chicken serial killer!

Mink, for sure. We had 6 chickens slaughtered in one day. I was using a chicken tractor with 1" hardware cloth underneath and up the sides two feet. I had 2" x 3" fencing on the top and the top 2' of the sides. We never had a problem with coons getting in, but there were plenty of tracks on...

      2018 Gratuitous Grilling/Griddlin/BBQ/etc. Thread

Guess I can finally share in this thread. I've been wanting a ceramic for a while, and it finally happened. My 13 year old propane grill and I decided this was the year we split. Happened upon a deal, and brought this home today. Cannot wait. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Need Contractor for water main tap in Westfield (Citizens)

Long story short, I need a new main tap to a vacant property that is owned by my family. I will be setting up an irrigation system, so just stubbed out of the meter with poly or whatever is all I need. This is in Westfield, so you're dealing with Citizens'. There will be road cutting (12'...

      Things to do in Cincinnati

My in-laws just went to the Noah's Ark Encounter, and said it was great. They spent 4 hours there, and said they wished they had more time. I've also heard good things about the Creation Museum

Heartland Fly Fishing Festival - Jan. 20-21 - Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds

I haven't seen this mentioned on here, but I know we have some fly fishers on here. I got a 2 day pass for Christmas, and plan on taking my 4 year old. Should be a good show. The profit from the show will benefit Project Healing Waters, which is a great organization for our Veterans...

      Fly Fishing Terre Haute HELP

I'm not sure if this was directed at me, but I was simply offering advice to another member who wanted more distance on his cast. I think it helped him. As for the 70' cast with the custom comp rods...Not sure, when I'm casting, I'm fishing. I've never felt the need to cast for distance...

      Fly Fishing Terre Haute HELP

That's a nice stick. A thought that may help you...in conventional fishing, you use the weight of the lure/worm/spinbait to make the cast. In fly, you use the weight of the flyline. In other words, you need to feel the flyrod load before making the forward cast, just as you would feel the...

      Fly Fishing Terre Haute HELP

No problem. I'm always hesitant to offer advice without knowing what others know, or seeing them cast. The Orvis videos are well done, and well worth a watch. Maybe we should have a fly fishing meet and fish. I know we have tried this in the past, but maybe it's time to explore it again.
