I purchased a Bonanza Co-Ax press in the 70s. I am still using it. Bonanza is Forester's old name. In the 70s it was a popular press for the bench rest crowd.
Last year, I purchased a 05 Ranger with a V6 manual transmission for $1500. It has over 200K miles but it was a one-owner trade-in. I inspected the truck prior to purchase and it indicated a cylinder #4 misfire. I pulled the #4 sparkplug and found a very worn sparkplug. The frontend clicked...
I believe the Tipo Garands have 30 06 barrels that were shortened 1/2" and rechambered to 7.62x51. This required the op rod and stock to be shortened. New shortened stocks are usually marked MT and the op rods are marked Tipo 2. The heel of the receivers were scrubbed, but often some of the...
IO has a poor reputation for its rifles and customer service. I wouldn't spend much to improve the rifle. Anything you purchase to correct the problem will probably need to be fitted. With a close inspection, you may be able to see what needs adjustment for a better fit.
Linear compensators just direct the muzzle blast forward away from the shooter. They may be of some help to the shooter, but they do not reduce the actual noise level.
I am reading

In the early 80s, a 4" S&W M19 in an Allessi square inside the waistband holster, or if I thought I might need more a 6.5" Magnaported S&W M29 in a Jackass "Dirty Harry" shoulder holster. A S&W 469 was for more hidden carry. For long guns an HK91 and an HK512 shotgun. Later a Browning DBA 45...

A lot of the cheaper shotguns are manufactured in Turkey. A few years ago I purchased a Sarsilmaz pump and a semi-auto shotgun. They cost around $300 each. Both have extended magazines, rifle sights, scope rail, interchangeable choke tubes, and pistol grip stock. They function well, but I...
For rifles and shotguns, I like old wood and steel. My two favorite rifles are the M1 Garand and the FN49. My collection of M1s has examples of six manufactures (Springfield, Winchester, Harrington Richards, International Harvester, Breda, and Beretta). I have examples of the FM49 in four of...
I purchased one for my daughter because after trying a few small pistols, she liked the P365 best. I purchased the 365 XL with the Romeo sight because I was curious about a carry gun with a red dot sight.
They have done several transfers for me. They charged $20 for single transfers and $25 to transfer two receivers. They are very friendly and easy to work with.
