I know, I know, I'm a sick Gun Nut but this is tooooo cool !

I would have to agree, that this is too cool! I saw a different post on here about the possibility of an 8 prop drone with the same mount. That would make a huge difference in control and the ability to absorb some of the recoil. The problem with this is that there are some many people out...

What are you shooting goals for 2015?

I know it. I reached out to a gentleman that works in some capacity with the Warsaw USPSA. He invited me to a couple of events, but it was short notice and wasnt able to make it. He even pointed me in the direction of an instructional course to help me get familiar. The issue with getting...

What are you shooting goals for 2015?

      Sporting Clays

I agree with rosejm. Don't worry about the choke or firearm. Use what you have and just go shoot! When you have more experience, you can then worry about tweaking equipment. You will have a much better idea of what your difficulties are and what equipment you need after shooting more clays...

      Mountain House Food Packs

Its not something I would use for camping etc. if I were to eat them, loss of flavor in my food would be the least of my concerns! thanks for the info.

      Mountain House Food Packs

Thanks for the input on these. I am looking for something for long term storage in my BOB. Can anyone tell me how long they can be stored?

What is some wild vegetation that is safe to eat, locally?

I often see the shows on tv with survivalists finding and eating things found naturally in the wild. I have often wondered what can be found here and how to indentify. Alot of the posts on this thread tell you what to find, but I need pics and want to know how to prepare them safely along with...

      looking for an affordable FFL

In my area (Northeast Indiana), I see gun shops going out of business all of the time. They can stick around for a year or two, but often shut their doors once they realize that most newe guns are bought online or at the big box stores (gander etc). They try to survive on gunsmithing and used...

      Ebola on the horizon?

I was told, but am not sure I beleive it, that dogs can spread this virus. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that. You are right Renauldo, How serious can the spread of ebola get if it turns out that it can be spread by animals! This is a terrible thought. CAn anyone confim that...

Fort Wayne Citilink buses end firearm ban IAW new state law

Please clarify the try harder. Are you just saying that my argument is not strong. If so, I understand that the open carry argument can be pretty strong for both sides (open carry vs CC). I was simply stating my perspective that I would prefer no one knowing that I am carrying. SteveM4A1 has...

Man Exercising his 'Open Carry' Right Robbed of Gun he was Carrying

There are hundreds of posts by people in each thread. Each person has a different point of view and a different angle. My posts are replying to each person and what they have to say. I am certainly not trying to do anything that is frowned upon, but I certainly didnt feel that replying to...

Man Exercising his 'Open Carry' Right Robbed of Gun he was Carrying

that is one reasomn why i cc! Nobody needs to know that I am carrying. I have it to protect my self and would prefer having the elemnt of surprise if it is needed. Plus would love to see the look on their face when they realize they picked the wrong guy to rob! I dont see the reason in open...

Single customer wins shootout with FOUR armed robbers in Texas bar.

i would beleive that most illegal owners have the gun for one reason and rarely practice as they really cant go to a range. those of us that are cc, shoot all the time! makes sense that we would be more accurate and quicker....right?

Fort Wayne Citilink buses end firearm ban IAW new state law

thats the great thing about cc. i carry for protection. if people see it, they will get worked up. or me, it is there if i need it and nobody knows until they learn they picked the wrong person to rob/threaten etc..

Fort Wayne Citilink buses end firearm ban IAW new state law

i actually heard this on wowo. all i could think was that this guy has absolutely no clue what he was talking about. a lot of people can deal with being exposed when having no clue when talking about a subject. really bad when it is so obvious and broadcasted!

Honestly, how bad is Wolf ammo?

one of my favorite guns to shoot is my ruger sr9. it eats up any ammo i put in it...but it hates wolf. i bought 250 rounds of it, shot 50 at my dads and left the rest of it there! DIRTY!

      First homegrown rounds

How much does one save on reloading your own pistol ammo?

i would definitely say that it was worth it. i plan on starting to reload in january. i like the idea that my savings in ammo will double my collection in just a few years!

Do you let you children play with toy guns?

I agree with what you are saying I played cops and robbers when I was a kid and did point them at my brothers and cousins. I choose now to use them as a tool with my kids to teach safety. I think the world is a little different now and kids a exposed to guns more in media. I use this tool to...
