I agree with NoBoater. Stopping the threat is the primary concern. Dead, or unable to pose any further threat is of primary concern. Protecting Yourself & loved ones from harm is what matters.

Here's a different point of view: If a person is handicapped & doesn't have full use of one hand it can make it hard to jack a round into a semi-auto so a revolver is easier to use for some. Just a thought.
