      PSA build kits.

I have a better deal for ya. Brownells has a free float key mod upper for$319. Complete with bolt-carrier charging handle. PSA has lower parts kits for 30 bones. If not try red barn armory. If not try surplus ammo and arms. Then all you need is a but stock assembly and a better grip. You will...

      Performance 5.56 v .223

Thank you. I try to explain that to shooters almost every day. None of them ever get it. The difference between the two is less than the tolerance of each. Its the same round. There's no other way to put it. Sometimes this helps guys understand.; if 5.56 has a higher psi cup than 223 rem. Why...

      AR15 Ejector Roll Pin

One day about 20 years ago I had built a new At and on its second range visit my bolt catch pin snapped in half. I continued shooting without a bolt catch and when I got it home I tapped the broken roll pin out and realized it had to be the weakest part of the assembled rifle. I replaced it with...

      ,hornady xtp in 9mm

I had wanted to find zeros. So the big question here is. Where do you find them????? I think they have a better reputation than many of the brands out there. I have zero luck with searches. Here's some extremes from yesterday. I was trying to see what my new walther liked as far as umph. The...

      AR15 Ejector Roll Pin

As a matter of fact. I replace many roll pins with stainless pin stock. I have several sizes and clip off as needed.

      AR15 Ejector Roll Pin

You can squeeze the roll pin with needle nose pliers and get it started. Once its in the upper. Its captive.

Yea. I'm not a conventional striker fired guy. The walther ppa striker system is a different animal though. So I guess I'm in the marked for ansig p320 now. Does this addi tion ever end? Hahah

      ,hornady xtp in 9mm

I do buy the plated from extreme often and like practicing twice as much as with xtps. But the xtps are extremely accurate. Haha. Are Barry's any better than extremes or rmr's? I do like the plated bullets as they are clean and seat like butter. I could care less about expansion as I just...

      ,hornady xtp in 9mm

Anyone else find the 115 gr xtp to be the most accurate? I researched it and it seems to be the most accurate for a lot of people. I keep going back to it out of convince and just plain out quality. Its available even at wally world. It launches well with any powder and seats extremely...

How many primers/bullets can you keep in a home?

I know why now. I threw a tray of old primers( 10-20 ) in a small BBQ pit fire a month ago. It was a huge explosion. The fire ignited them all instantly. It blew the lid 40 ft out into my yard and completely destroyed my lil steel burner. Lesson learned. Hahah

      So I bought a...

Very true. But still godda hit each one. And a pistol that shoots badly at 7 yds isn't going to do much for anyone. I still like mine though hahaha. I'm gonna hang onto the bad shooters and work on my technique a lil bit. Then work with em. A fine shooter that will last the test of time will...

      So I bought a...

I love the dao trigger. Very smoother. Very accurate lil set up. I was amazed. Just what I was looking for. Modular too. I can swap it to all the popular cals. And sizes and colors. Too nice IMHO. Next up is a gen 1 ppq. This week I'll grab one and see.

      So I bought a...

Sig P250 sub compact. Wasn't expecting it to flat out shoot ever pistol I have ever fired. And a sub compact? What other sub's should I look at? It came with night sights and became my favorite pistol instantly. I guess I don't need 19 rounds if the first shotbhits right where I'm aiming...

Adventures in wet tumbling. There's no going back!!!

Very nice. I have a whole bottle of flitz from my dry tumbling experiments. I'm wondering if the liquid flits has a sealer in it? And if it would desolve in water???? And we must be carefully as any ammonia based polishers will weaken the brass. I used flitz as a dry polisher in my dry tumblers...
