      Has anyone had any time with the 50a? I'm going to pick up a Barret m82 Thursday but the Serbu looks like it would be more accurate. It doesn't have a floating barrel but they did have issues with them when they first came out.

      The Remington 700 police is still a decent gun. Should be able to pick one up for under 900 without optics. The other 700s heard of a lot of quality issues lately. Like a lot of people on here I'm also a fan of savage.

      buying a new ar

      I have shot a buddies and it shot fine. Still not a big fan heard good and bad from them. I'm a rock river fan. You pay a little more but get a solid gun. I've had several and still have a few rra lar8s and lar15s. Great guns.
