Watching your kids grow up and succeed is sweet. Watching your grandchildren do that is the icing on the cake. Congratulations to that young lady for her patience and perserverance.
Both daughters and my wife know how to properly handle a firearm and are all good shots. Only the oldest daughter will actually carry one, and that is probably due to a couple of life experiences; one where she did not have a gun that did not end so well for her, and the second where she did...
I did not know him personally but from the comments of those who did, I wish I had. Sounds like a great guy and we need all of those we can get in this world.
Agree completely. I have never had a vehicle that was "titled" to the bank. Every vehicle I have ever had was titled in my name, with just a lien put on by the bank. Once the lien is released and the release notarized, the title is in my name and it is clear.
Bought a Beretta 92DXR from a fellow INGO member. Took it to the range right away. Took a couple of shots to get used to the DAO trigger, but once I got going it was great.
Some how I have missed this thread until now.
Doesn't seem like anything ever got any momentum. If we can breath some life back into it, still sounds like a good idea. I know there are more members in this area that I have seen post, but we do seem to be largely overshadowed by our northern...
That is absolutely awesome! Can't think of anything better you could have done form him. Now you have years of shooting fun ahead, until you get too old to see the target or reload the mags. LOL!

I was in downtown Denver a couple of years ago. Saw a panhandler on a street corner with his sign saying he was hungry and needed food. A father and his two young children were walking down the street. They ducked into a burger shop a couple of doors down from where the panhandler was and...
I had a similar experience. Basically, the store manager told me that it was probably back in the warehouse, but they were short handed and would let me know when they found it and checked it in.
About a week before the cicadas started coming out, we were inundated with a flock of wild turkeys and a large red-headed woodpecker (he frequents the woods behind our place). They were aerating the ground around all the trees (large stand of white pines on both north and south sides of the...
I have had an XDM and XDS and really liked them both. Ending up selling them to fund some other gun purchases.
Currently have and XDE and really like how it shoots. Still, as someone mentioned, my two favorite Springfield offerings are an EMP4 and a Ronin. Really love those two better than...
Interesting. I am between St. Joe and Darmstadt and they started hatching Thursday and the last two days the chirping has been intolerable. The trees are covered with shells and they are flying all over the place.
