Yes, just what we need. The Tide Pod/Condom Challenge-type young idiots canceling out the votes of tax-paying, sensible Americans.
And to think that some (you know who) want to amend the Constitution to lower the voting age to 16. Gee, I wonder why?
The stats in this article are excellent ammunition in any discussion with a gun grabber (not that they give a crap about actual facts or stats). I put this in a thread in the 2A section.
Irrational Fear of Mass Shootings Can't Justify Unconstitutional Gun Control - Hit & Run : Reason.com
This is a great article that deconstructs the mass gun control hysteria following Parkland (or any mass shooting). The author cites actual CDC and other statistics to support the point that, statistically, someone's chance of dying in a mass shooting is less than dying from stinging insect...
Excellent rundown. I had a 320 compact I let go because I wasn't carrying it and prefer my VP9 in a larger frame gun. Tried the P365 at Point Blank, and loved it. My number 1 wishlist gun currently.
I've had good luck with Armslist, thus far. Both as a seller and as a buyer. You just have to exercise sensible precautions. I've found that you can screen out the tire-kickers, scammers, etc. pretty quickly once you actually speak with them.
Naturally INGO transactions are much more likely...
I'd never even heard of this guy until I saw him on FNC last month. What an impressive thinker---and, as someone who has no problem shutting down PC nonsense, is a total rarity in academia these days. Might be worth the trip down.
Justice Stevens has been wrong on many issues of legal or Constitutional significance, particularly in the final dozen or so years of his tenure. Nice to see he's retained his form in retirement. Please, sir, go away now.
Another interesting compromise would be $500 tax stamp and another NFA amnesty. This would be a big revenue raiser for Uncle Sam, but also allow fixing of the lousy record keeping in the transferables registry. And maybe most important, a massive infusion of new transferable MGs as war bring...
Thanks for the response! I have a converted M1 carbine (Rock Island Armory registered receiver) that I hope I can work into a deal for an FNC sear. I could of course sell outright, and then maybe find and buy a sear. But I'm hoping there's a sear owner out there who would value getting a...
I think the "accidental" MG owners will be fine if they fix or address the issue as soon as they learn of it. If it is not fixable, it has in fact become an MG and they'd need to destroy it or turn it over to the ATF. No sane prosecutor would try to go after someone trying to do the right...
I've got a really nice one made in the late 1950s or early '60s--a Bavarian police contract gun with leather flap holster. My dad gave it to me as a gift when I received my Army commission a lifetime ago. It's a tack driver, but like all of these it is old school. Very precise...
For the NFA experts out there, I hope this isn't a really dumb question, but if someone in Indiana with a machinegun on a Form 4 wants to trade for an out of state MG on a Form 4, what is the recommended (lawful) procedure to do this? Write up a contract, simultaneously execute the transfer on...
PSA has a 10 Pmags plus 200 rounds of 55-grain 5.56 deal right now for 129.99. Seems pretty decent
200 Rounds of Federal 5.56 55gr FMJBT Ammo & 10 Magpul PMAG 5.56 30rd Magazines
When I was in the Army, I was surprised how many soldiers and officers were not "gun people". Not that they were antis (though there were certainly a few of those). A lot of them were trained to use weapons (obviously), qualified and trained with them, carried them in war, etc. But just think...
