Just picked up a 915 in a trade. While not the most desirable of the bunch, I'm quite happy with it.
What are people generally doing for holsters? Preferably Kydex, AIWB, and if possible a OWB option compatible with Safariland QLS.
Granted, I'm aware both of those trends are far newer than the...
The closest I could come would be my red box P320... On the flip side, those funds paid for a Dan Wesson 15-2, and I now work for Sig, so if I want to replace the P320, it would be a non issue...

Well it's official... Trading my Beretta 21A Inox for a Ruger LCP II .22LR tomorrow.
I loved the way the Beretta handled, however it was annoying at best as a range toy, and an absolute liability at worst as a pocket/backup carry. It needed to be absolutely spotless to function with any...
Long shot, but has anyone had issues with the 10/22 Pike Arms charging handles? I have one with the cotter pin in my pistol build, and it appears the action rod is too short. The bolt will go all the way home if pressure is applied, but it appears if left alone, it will be slightly out of...
Picked up my receiver this morning and mocked everything up. Still waiting on some internals, so nothing is permanently mounted, and the birdcage is not timed.

I bit the bullet the other day and placed the final order for everything to complete my 10/22 "backpack/.22 PDW" build. Pics to follow.
-Brownells BRN-22 receiver
-Whistlepig 6" barrel
-Enoch Odin chassis
-Gearhead Works Tailhook Mod1C
-A3 Tactical 9" brace arm
-Ruger BX trigger
-Ruger factory...
Again, a standard LPK will work, as the ambi adds the lever on the left side, as opposed to the flat bar that a standard mag release will have.
If a standard release is used, it will simply fit flush into the slot in the receiver. The receiver stays the same, the mag release itself is the...
Although, a standard LPK will work, provided that the user doesn't need the ambi mag release. Standard M400 doesn't have an ambi bolt release, so no difference there besides the shape of the actual paddle.

Nice! I haven't completely ruled out suppressors, however they're just not a priority for me. My rimfires would be the first to get the treatment of I do descend the dark, dark, rabbit hole.

I was pleasantly surprised by a 11in(?) Polish pistol with the Gearstar Works Tailhook on a KGB Stinger arm. Might have to add an AK pistol to the fold down the road.
I've seen that one! Quite informative. MrGunsngear did a similar video on 300blk a little while back as well.
Ammo cost and...
I've been informed that I missed a quite entertaining post.. As I mentioned, this is more of a thought exercise/game of would-you-rather, as both will eventually be complete and in the collection.
9x39 is intriguing for the application, and a close friend (also an INGOer) is, or at least was...
The 7.62x39 build in her current (pretty much finished) cosmetic state. Have to ensure the gas block won't walk forwards, and play with buffer weights to get the dwell time where it's happy.

Commie calibers! (Ok only technically one is a long gun).
Picked the Type 56 up yesterday, and spent about 3 hours cleaning and digging cosmoline out of all of the books and crannies. I still have the bolt soaking. Waiting on a better set of punches and a Murray's firing pin. The retainer...
