      Hiking Boots

      I have a pair of Ecco Kolyma boots with a year on them and they are holding up great, they get worn 2-3 times/week year round and are by far the most comfortable boots i've ever owned. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair when these are worn out.

      Glock 30 vs Sig P220

      I shoot my 220ST better than any gun(including Glocks) I've ever owned. Sold G17, G19, G23 & G32. Not a fair comparison really, a solid stainless framed gun vs. a polymer frame. My non-stainless sigs are much closer to the glocks in accuracy and fall to personal preference.

      Help me choose a pocket gun

      Sold my PM9 and now carry the Sig 238. I shoot great with it and I can shoot it as much as I can afford to. The frame rails on my PM9 were not holding up well after just a few hundred rounds.

      While all of my experiences with LE have been 100% positive, I still spend a lot of time reading this section and have definitely tweaked my approach based on others negative interactions.

      News reports are saying another automatic weapon. Two LEO shootings with fully auto weapons in a week is crazy if true.

      It stops being peaceful and starts becoming intimidation when you bus in these people and drop them off at his private residence. Keep it in the statehouse where it belongs. Anything beyond that is purely meant to intimidate.

      I didn't talk about my political beliefs and try to avoid adding that into any internet conversation. They have no relevance and that was part of the point I was trying to make through sarcasm. Re-read the post i quoted. BTW I'm very conservative :D

      By you doing what you feel is "perfectly legal", you may be infringing on your neighbors right to quiet enjoyment of his property. Guns are dangerous, and firing them on such a small piece of property could have consequences, both criminally and civilly. Have you ever feared for your safety...

      Advantages of Pocket Carry

      Nevermind the fact that the trigger had been modified and he had other items in the pocket. I've owned and pocket carried a PM9 and they have a really long DAO trigger pull. Should have left the trigger stock it sounds like :dunno:

      I understand. But if you are doing late night mag dumps you are asking to get a visit from sheriff. Especially if you are doing it where you have fairly close houses. Should I call the sheriff and get it stopped or return fire :)

      We were carrying in groceries last night when it began and it was back in the treeline. I don't get home until dark and I don't get paid to run towards gunfire :) I'm hoping it's a carryover from NYE and will die out before we have to start taking cover in our own house!

      The scariest part of that article is where they ask the DA and the FOP if the punishment fits the crime and they said both felt it did.
