I am a combat wounded (Purple Heart) 80% disabled Army vet. I do go to the VA as my primary source for health care and they require that I be covered by either a private insurer for most things or that I be on Medicare with a,"GAP", policy that I pay for. I need to show this proof of insurance...
Retired ATP with thirty years in the cockpit and a couple of type ratings and I must respectfully disagree as in many cases they are quite visible from the air. Without a huge investment in hardware and a budget busting light bill I don't think we could really fool anyone though! :)
Ooops!
It is a real term and besides since we are on the final approach path for 23R at IND I am afraid that with a blue and a green light the front yard might be mistaken for a taxiway. :)
Back in da'hood.
Back home again. One block north of 16th St. between Kessler Blvd. and Tibbs Ave. Pretty much sounds like the Fourth of July around here on weekends at least. :ar15:
Does not make me sick at all. At that time a union journeyman carpenter's wages were $1.75 an hour and I was only making 1/2 scale. So it is all relative and to purchase one of those I still had to save and do without other things for quite some time.
Just the normal imprint on the primer left by the firing pin and breach face on a Glock. All of my brass looks like this whether once fired or reloaded multiple times.
Still mobile
Mine is still mobile as well. I built this cradle which is bolted to the floor. It holds both the wheels and the legs captive when the external muffler is attached. By removing one muffler clamp and the ground wire it rolls right out.
