You are correct about business property owners...They have the right to make their property gun free. You and I can choose not to shop there or be asked to leave or be arrested if we do not comply...The law is what gives us rights...rights are not limited to what rights are comprised in the constitution/bill of rights...we have rights in contracts, rights in real property, etc...

You have made some excellent points here between these two posts and I agree with you 100%. Some choose to CC, some chose to OC, but we're all protected by the same amendment.

I think Benjamin Franklin said it best:

"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Business/property owners are allowed to make their properties/businesses gun free if they wish, but that decision can hurt their business in more ways than one. Personally, I've always felt that a carrying "good guy" is better than an unannounced "bad guy" who doesn't care the slightest bit about your policies. That "good guy" might just stop a criminal or save the lives of your customers and staff in the process.

You left out the second part, 38 out of 50 states have to ratify the amendment, my point was that congress just can't overturn an amendment with a simple vote.

Yes, which is why I volunteered to leave when I was asked to remove my firearms from the property. Because this is the rule of the property, I still believe -1 to the property owner. I still maintain my +1 to Gamestop for their positive interaction.

You are essentially correct, however, you can NOT be arrested for ANYTHING gun related, period. You could be arrested for trespass though...

Here, you could not be MORE wrong.
Rights are inherent, as believed by the Founding Fathers. Those Rights were enumerated by the BoR, not GIVEN by the BoR or the law.

By your definition, humans in other countries that violate basic civil rights by their laws, have less rights than we do.

He left because an agent of the property asked him to leave, could have been because he had a hat on, him leaving was to avoid a trespass charge not a firearm related charge.
