Indeed. That, and a forum is generally organized by topic. Like the article says, an introvert can talk, and for a long time, but only about things that interest them. I would wager most people here are interested in guns (or politics, I guess :D )

And even then, there are some of us that lurk still through those various topics until we find something just right.

    Back to the shadows.

Being an introvert we're actually the lucky ones. We like ourselves & enjoy our own company but we can also interact with other people. I don't have to have someone else to entertain me. I can entertain myself. In a crowd I can either participate or I can sit back & watch the show. Either way I am fine with it.

I went pre-black Friday shopping with my niece. Hell yeah I was over-stimulated. Once I decided I didn't have to get anything I just stood back & watched the crowd, it was interesting. I dealt with the crowds a lot better & just waited for my niece to check out.

I know a lot of people who can't stand to be alone. They need the validation from other people. I would prefer to be liked but I don't have to be. As long as they don’t say mean stuff to me, who cares? I don't have to talk to other people but yeah if something interests me you might have a hard time shutting me up.
